On 13th May 2017, RIWAY International’s leaders lit up the halls of Singapore EXPO in the name of charity with a total of SGD$2,048,000 raised. Let us applaud those who spared no efforts in their charitable acts and shower our blessings to all those in need.

Creating a Compassionate Powerhouse

The charity auction kick-started with an overwhelming response, and it began with a high winning bid of SGD$250,000 for the “Heart of Synergy” from Team Elite Pegasus III Andy Saw!

Thereafter, Team Elite Pegasus III David Yeo and Team Elite Pegasus III Joe Lee won the bid for the second auction item “Eternal Heart” at SGD$250,000. The pin was subsequently gifted to Chief Development Officer Dato’ Kenny Wong to thank him for his years of leadership and guidance for them.

Playing his own part for charity, Chief Development Officer Dato’ Kenny Wong decided to put the “Eternal Heart” pin back up for bidding! Finally, 3 of RIWAY Core Management Team won the bid for “Eternal Heart” at SGD$320,000 and presented it back to Team Elite Pegasus III David Yeo.

Subsequently, Team Elite Pegasus II Chiu Yen Hao and Team Elite Pegasus II Chiu Cheng Hsiu from Taiwan won the bid for the third auction item “Heart of Aspiration” at SGD$228,000. And to show their appreciation for Chief Training Officer Ted Tan’s passion in leading the Taiwan leaders all this time, the “Heart of Aspiration” was presented to him.

Just when everyone thought the auction has come to an end, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Lim Boon Hong surprised everyone when he put up the “Heart of RIWAY” pin for bidding once again, thereafter bidding it back at SGD$1,000,000 for himself! This resulted in raising a record breaking total of SGD$2,048,000 in this charity auction!

We are deeply thankful to all the leaders for their participation in the auction, and for that, we as well as the society are blessed by their generosity and kindness.
